Bike to Work Day

Whether you're a regular bicycle commuter or have been waiting for the right moment to give it a try, we invite you to join us for Bike to Work Day! This annual event celebrates the joy of biking to work ... but also, biking anywhere! It is Charleston Moves' charge to improve our roads and bridges so you have the necessary infrastructure to choose how you move, safely and comfortably.

Please consider a donation to advance our multi-modal advocacy across Charleston County — bridging gaps and connecting communities. Gifts of $50 or more unlock a 9th Annual Pedal & Panache ticket discount! AND, donations will be matched, up to $500, thanks to the generosity of supporters Morgan Hughey and Abby Robertson.

This year, we are offering two Bike to Work Day activations:

MORNING COFFEE COMMUTE | 7:30-9:30 am

Roll through Sightsee on your way to work, dropping kids at school, or zipping around doing errands for a tasty coffee, to say hi, and to learn what Charleston Moves is working on. Sightsee is extending 20% off orders for folks biking and walking, and we'll have our signature coffee mugs for sale, hint hint! ALSO, we'll have a raffle going for some seriously awesome Sightsee and Charleston Moves swag. Can't win if you don't play! :)

EVENING HAPPY HOUR | 5-7 pm

Stop by Graft after work for a bottle-popping happy hour. Tutti, Charleston's newest pizza joint, will be open, serving up slices to accompany your post-work beverages. And, our Sightsee x Charleston Moves raffle, which kicks off at the morning event, will be open through this one!
