Donate to our 20th Anniversary Celebration of Progress

This year, Charleston Moves celebrates its 20th anniversary. We are extremely proud to look back and see how we've upheld a legacy. In 2005, we bridged the Cooper River with Wonders' Way, the bicycle and pedestrian path on the Ravenel Bridge. And now, in 2025, we're bridging the Ashley River with a world-class standalone bicycle and pedestrian bridge, the first pedestrian cable-stayed swing bridge in the United States. This is tremendous success in, relatively speaking, short order.

Success takes YOU, because progress is people-powered. We use Mobility Month as an annual rallying point to grow our movement and continue making change. Please join us for events throughout May and donate to our campaign to power our advocacy in 2025.

When you give to Charleston Moves, you put dollars toward having proven expertise at the table for dozens of transportation projects across Charleston County each year. In 2024, we handled over 50 projects — working to deliver the best for you out of each one. That's about a project per week. But as you know, it's not ever that simple. Each project careens through stages that involve countless hours and cycles of study, negotiation, activation, resolution ... then often more negotiation, delay and reengagement. It's not easy. But your trust in us is what moves us forward.
